KELLENBERGER was established in 1917 and is specializing in the development and production of hydraulically and numerically controlled precision grinding machines and systems for the application in the field of medium and high technology.
Costruita nel 1963 come laboratorio artigiano con sede ad Asti, specializzato nella costruzione di stampi, attrezzature e lavorazioni meccaniche di precisione. Nel 1970 si trasferisce nello stabilimento di Castell'Alfero (Asti) ed inizia a progettare e costruire macchine speciali. Nello stabilimento di Castell'Alfero sono installate le macchine di roduzione meccanica e i repati di montaggio delle macchine speciali. Nel 1980 inizia la costruzione di fresatrici di precisione CNC che viene poi sviluppato dal 1997 con la costruzione del primo reparto di montaggio di Calliano (Asti). In questa sede vengo completate le operazioni di assemblaggio, cablaggio e collaudo funzionale. Attualmente l'azienda è collocata interamente nella sede di Castell'Alfero su un'area di 6000 m2 con un organico di 80 persone.
